Since January 2005 The Old Bakehouse in West Linton, near Edinburgh, has been run by local couple Steve and Fiona, who previously ran the Gordon Arms in the village, and then the Roslin Glen Hotel.
The menus are a blend of established favourites, many from the char-grill, coupled with an ever-changing weekly market menu that reflects the best available produce. Local produce is used where possible e.g. Baddinsgill pheasant and Ferniehaugh lamb etc.
So whether you are looking for a choice of simple, quick dishes from our Lunchtimers menu; a three course candlelit dinner for two, or a special event for twenty; to unwind over the papers and our Brunch and Sunday roast menu - you'll definitely find something to suit you.
